Currently Loving {Weekly Link Up 2.0}

Another week has gone by and I don't know where it went. Although it's officially spring, we couldn't be any farther away from it. It's currently snowing outside and doesn't show signs of stopping any time soon. Between being sick all week and having below freezing temperatures, I haven't taken any outfit pictures because, let's face it, you don't want to see my pajamas. They are old and they are from Target. Instead I bring you another installment of Currently Loving series and these are some of the coolest things around the web. Link up your posts and spread the word!

1. How cool are these stacking chairs? The coolest things are available to kids now-a-days.

2. Lovely length ad gorgeous cut of this dress makes me want to take the price plunge. Swoon!

3. Because we all need to laugh at ourselves...

4. Loving neon for this spring and especially this bag.

5. Tried Brazilian Steakhouse and loved every second of it. It was absolutely delicious and totally worth the steep price point. If you never tired it, it's so worth it!

6. I've been feeling under the weather last weekend with some flu-like symptoms. It might be from fatigue, stress or exhaustion.

7. Is having enough material good and a comfortable life here really a blessing? Read this.

8. Life around the globe in pictures is so different then ours. A lot to be grateful for.

Currently Loving {Weekly Link Up 1.0}

If you have been following bloggers any amount of time, you know we are all about the new thing. We are about shopping, buying the newest trends and looking forward to the new season. We are rarely satisfied with what we have because someone else already has something everything we want. I've noticed it to be true even in my own life. We are going after things we don't have and constantly disregarding the things we do have. We get caught in the materialistic, shopping-crazy life style and it's hard to break away from it.
Here, I'm starting new kind of link up. What is it I'm currently loving in my life, around the web and just in general. Link up your favorite pair of jeans, or the newest cupcake recipe you tried that makes your skirt fly up. Whatever it is you are currently loving in your life, do share with us and let's try to be happier, kinder and satisfied with what we have.

1. How much TV should children watch? I'm a proponent of the least amount possible. This article seems to suggest we need to keep this up until he's 12 years old. What do you think? Is it even possible?

2. Are you in a blogging rut? Here are some ideas!

3. Loving this early spring outfit which makes me want to take out my summer dresses.

4.Husband and I waited for our first kiss until the altar. So good to see that this couple did the same thing and happy with it. Would you?

5. Absolutely heavenly recipe of almond croissants. And guess what? It's super easy!

6. I've been using the same moisturizer  for last several years. Trying to find something else that works without having to spend hundreds of dollars with trial and error. Help!

7. Do I need another dress? Yum, Yeah!

8. Anyone else is crazy about the color of the year? Meh.

Inspiration Monday Link Up

Hello Lovelies!
This is sort of a new chapter for my space on the world wide web and I'm happy to announce that it's not just skin deep. It goes further then that.
Ever since starting this blog, I didn't want to just have an outfit/day and some cute remarks but truly an inspirational space where people can come to and gain ideas, share thoughts and generally be uplifted. Life of outfits is just one side of me and there is so much more that I want to share.
There are many important issues needed to be discussed and moments to be shared that I don't want the time to go buy without changing the world my corner at least a little bit.

I don't know much but what I do know is that people want to feel like they are not alone, like others are going through similar problems and too don't have perfect Insta pictures. We are part of a community and as women, need to encourage, uplift and strengthen each other. There is enough negativity and darkness in this world that a little bit of inspiration is all we need to make this world a better place.
So let's get to it, shall we?

Black And White

blouse: Forever21 (similar), skirt: thrifted (similar), shoes: BCBGirls (similar), necklace: gift, clutch: Macy's (similar)
I'm not the type of girl who just jumps on the trend train right away. If there is a trend fever going around, I'm probably going to be the last person on the planet Earth to try it out.
I don't know why that is. Maybe because I'm playing it safe or want to see how everyone else is wearing it and steal borrow some ideas.
Maybe I've been inspired by these ladies here, here, here and here. And many more.
Whatever the reason is, I've hopped on the black-and-white-all-over train and loving it.
It's such a classy way to dress any of the clothes up. Who doesn't own black and pumps and some sort of white top? It's the easiest look to put together and probably my favorite.
Have a great day!
Thanks for reading!

Favorite Photo

This post is part of Blog Everyday In May Challenge
Day 17, Friday: A favorite photo of yourself and why

As I was looking through the many pictures I have saved on my computer, I couldn't decide on the favorite. I asked my husband if he had a favorite picture of me and he said that no one picture describes me. And that's very true.
All pictures have stories behind them. They are all telling something.
And this one speaks volumes.
It's a favorite pictures of myself, as of  right now
It shows one of the most important roles I'm going to play in my life.
I'm about to become a mama.
I love the cute little belly and the nice colors.
I also can't help but notice the fondness with which I gaze at this new life forming inside of me.
It's so precious that my heart almost aches.
It also brings back many memories of long pillow talks with hubby about our future and our boy.
The many fears and uncertainties and reminds me how blessed I am.
Right now. This very moment.
And I can't help but to thank the Lord above for giving me this wonderful life, many blessings,
a loving husband and my little boy.

Five Things

I've realized that if I post a picture a day of this precious face, I will have enough cuteness until the end of times. I mean, look at that angel!

So everyone is tagging everyone on Instargam with five random things about the individual. Whoever came up with it, hit the spot and it's like a plague going around Web now. Natalie brought it into blogosphere and I think it's here to stay. I've been tagged  too (well, sorta), so here is my five things.

//1// When I was around fiver or six years old, I wanted to be a judge when I grew up (at least that's what my mom tells me I told everyone). Then I saw the cost of tuition for law school.

//2// When I first met my future husband, I disliked him. I mean, we were butting heads for a while, as we hung out in the same youth group. Once on a sledding trip we were playing around and I accidentally knocked glasses off his face. We found the glasses. I did say sorry. To this day, hubby swears I did it on purpose.

//3// Besides my secondary education, I went to music school for seven years and art school for five starting 6 years old. I did not have a moment of free time until my last two years of high school.

//4// I'm a clean freak except I hate doing dishes. I will scrub my house from top to bottom and vacuum and wash everything, only I may leave dishes for hubby to finish (if at all possible).

//5// When I was twelve years old, I spent entire summer in  Norway's country side. Our parents were working on strawberry farm and my sister and I were having a blast. Talk about spoiled.

Therefore to keep the ball rolling, I tag ShelbyKayleeDanielleAbbey and Jessica
