Orange Shift

denim jacket: Gap
clutch: DIY (similar under $50)
flats: Marc Fisher (similar here and here)
watch: Fossil (similar under $30)

I'm so sad that we are almost at the end of summer. I do love the early fall when you can get away with light layers and start wearing tall boots. But I'm not looking forward to the freezing winter temperatures. For now, I'm enjoying the transition into cooler temperatures yet warmer days. This outfit is perfect this time of year and I love the bright orange color. Thank you for stopping by!

Hello there! It seems like I have been away from blogging for a hundred year, while in reality I actually only took one week off. There is nothing like social pressure and Instagram pictures to whip you back into shape right away. ha! jk!
When I was thinking about my postpartum body and how I'm going to post outfits, I knew it wasn't going to be easy. The ideal is to show your bump entire pregnancy and then have flat stomach by the time you walk out of the hospital. Well, that's not reality. I have a few pound (and inches of flabby skin) to loose, but I'm OK with that. This time around, I'm kind to my body and much more understanding that it will take a little time. I did just give birth to an entire human being and it took nine months to grow that belly. In the mean time, shapewear to the rescue. So here is to the first postpartum outfit post.
Thank you for stopping by!

I know that a lot of my readers range in income and buying potential. A lot of times, I only include only ONE option for the clothes I have one, but from now on I will try to include a REAL($$$) price and STEAL($) price. So whatever it is you're looking for, you can find it on here.

Hope you are enjoying your week because mine is going extremely well! Hubby and I got to spend a day together without baby at home and I tell you people, it's such a blessing to have family close by. We weren't planning on anything but it just turned so that Jonathan spent the night at my mom's house and my sister babysit him entire day.

We were able to get some quality time together (ya know;-), lounge in bed, sleep in and have coffee together in the morning - all without being interrupted for one minute. Then we spent the rest of the day furniture shopping and possibly getting me a birthday present. It was glorious! I cannot imagine my life without my family and so grateful that we live close to both parents.
Thanks for stopping by!

Reflect Neon

Let's just talk about the new trend that has taken over blogosphere - neon aviators. Yes, I succumbed to the pressure of the web and bought myself a pair. I do like them with certain outfits, when I like to give something edge. I do like the RayBan's but they are way too expensive for a seasonal trend. So I headed to the mall and found myself a pair of cheap aviators that I know I wouldn't be upset if my son finds. And guess what? They look just fine and that's that's way I like it. I hope you have a great weekend!

Easy Does It

Welcome to the new week! I hope you had a great weekend and enjoyed some of the gorgeous weather we've been having. We were thrilled to finally ditch the coats and jump into flip flops and shorts. Sunday afternoon we took a stroll and it was wonderful. On the other hand, with the coming of warmer weather and Jonathan being outside more, there is going to be a lot more laundry, that's for sure. He loves running around and exploring the outdoors so at least that's a plus. We will be spending a whole lot of time outside and probably forgetting to eat lunch at one point. So happy to see the weather warm up because we've been cooped up inside far too long.
Enjoy it friends!
