This outfit came together as I was running late for church in the morning. I just can't stop wearing these striped pumps and planning all my outfits around them ha! Also, how cute are these bracelets (one and two)? They are a perfect addition to my fall accessories and can be dressed up or down. Neon Fit & Flare

sunglasses: Choies c/o (real deal)
sandals: BCBG (similar here)

Welcome to another week! Postpartum dressing is difficult, especially for church and special occasions. With nursing and still having a little bit of belly, most of my clothing fits a little weird. I can zip up my jeans but have all that loose skin hanging out on top. All you mamas know what I mean, right?
If you notice, this dress is not nursing friendly at all. My plan was to nurse Abbie right before church and then right after we got home. It didn't work out quite like that. Right on queue, two hours after I fed her, she was up and my milk let down. Fun times!  So I had to invent new ways to feed her while keeping the dress on (thank God there was a private room in church). I will have to rethink my dress choice next Sunday ha! Do any of you have any tips for postpartum body dressing?
Hope you are having a good day and thanks for stopping by!

I'm so sad that we are almost at the end of summer. I do love the early fall when you can get away with light layers and start wearing tall boots. But I'm not looking forward to the freezing winter temperatures. For now, I'm enjoying the transition into cooler temperatures yet warmer days. This outfit is perfect this time of year and I love the bright orange color. Thank you for stopping by!

Neon Maxi

dress: Choies c/o
jacket: GAP (similar)
bag: Amazon (similar)
sandals: Dorothy Perkins
necklace: old (similar)

There is nothing better than shift maxi dress for postpartum dressing. Honestly, I was never a fan shift dresses but right now I'm appreciating the convenience of oversized dressing.  I love all the flawing blouses, shift dresses and oversized tops. This dress was right up my ally because let's face it, the waist skirts and form fitting dresses aren't going to make appearance for a while.

If there's anything that makes a pregnant woman feel like a million bucks is a killer dress and some high heels. Honestly. That's all it takes. Well, maybe some vanilla ice cream with fresh berries, brought to me by my husband (without asking) really does make me feel just fine. Yes, that might definitely make me all emotional and I might even tear up when saying thank you. This pregnancy thing and the wacko hormones definitely kick my butt when it comes to calm and rational thinking. Maybe if I go get some aformentioned ice cream, everything will be right with the world again. Yep. Ice cream for breakfast it is. Oh no, wait, I think I saw an awesome recipe for buttermilk waffles on Pinterest, maybe pancakes? Although, smoked salmon with poached egg sounds amazing too. See what I mean? I'ts craaazy up in here. You have yourself a great weekend while I ponder upon the meaning of life, i.e. what to have for breakfast.
