Don't let the pretty dress and high heels full you - I'm quite miserable at this point. The baby feels very low and I have a lot PGP, it's hot outside and my feet are swollen. I have heartburn and can barely sleep even though I don't eat later than 7. I have been experiencing mild contractions and some very high/low emotional swings. So basically, I'm a typical very pregnant woman although it feels like this will never end. I know, I shouldn't be complaining and just enjoying this time to myself but I want this baby out. Then I hear a lot of people saying that if the first one was late, the second one may be too and that I should have chosen C-section this time too, which is totally discouraging. I'm trying to keep my spirits up with my daily prayers for the Lord to have his hand over this baby and give me grace during labor and delivery. Come out and play baby girl!
Around the first week of June last year, I posted these outfits on my blog. I can still tell you what was going on when I took the pictures, where they were taken and who I was doing after the photoshoots. It's funny how many memories are connected to the clothes we wear. For example, my wedding dress holds a lot of memories and is very important to me as it was a gift from my future husband. He wanted me to have the dress of my dreams (not sparing any expense), therefore I will keep it for the rest of my life. On the other hand, this eShakti striped dress wasn't such a great fit and I had to pass it on to my cousin.
I'm also thinking about the things I wanted to accomplish in a year, and how far I have come. Although I'm not one of the top earning bloggers and very far from even thinking about making living out of this hobby, I like doing it. I love seeing how my style has evolved over years and how much my tastes have changed. Having a few more collaboration and sponsorship opportunities helps as well .
I just wanted to say a huge thank you to those who have been following me, supporting me and encouraging me along the way. I could not have done it without the help of my awesome husband, photographer sister and all those who visit/comment and share about my blog.
Thank you so much for reading and following this girl's humble dream!

Now that I'm in third trimester, looking back at second trimester bump I have to say is my favorite. That's the time when you popped but haven't turned into a whale yet, can still tie your shoes and don't have heartburn after every meal. To look put together and stylish, I keep couple of tricks up my sleeve and want to share them with you
1. Shift Dress is your best friend. You know those shapeless dresses that only look good on hangers or models? Well, now they can become your best friend. Since they don't have a defined waist, they are perfect with a belt and some heels. Bonus: you can wear them after giving birth!
2. Maternity Jeans/Shorts are a life saver. No need to try to keep that button from popping out, or struggling to keep the belly band up every time you sit down. I love every single pair of maternity jeans and shorts I owe and wouldn't trade them for the world.
3. Popover is new kind of classic. Do you like the look of a polished dressy shirt? Consider getting a popover in the same color/print. Since there are no buttons lover than the chest area, they won't be opening at the most inconvenient time. Plus, they will be perfect for breastfeeding when the baby arrives. It's a win win in my book!
4. Stretchy Fabrics are the best. When selecting a dress or a top, go for the scuba fabric as it will grow with your bump and accommodate your belly at every stage.
5. Accessorize while you can. Belts, handbags and shoes are the best way to play up the same dress/outfit. Add bracelets and necklaces while you still can and tiny little hands aren't trying to rip them off you.

There is nothing like a Friday after a crazy busy week. I'm finally getting to post my favorite dress because I honestly feel like a million bucks in it! I love ASOS Maternity section and would buy every dress they have (already eyeing thisone). I know I talked about how hard it is to find nice maternity clothes but ASOS does have an incredible selection of gorgeous clothes for pregnant women. I'm so glad they ship for free too because I constantly order stuff to try on and send back if something doesn't fit. Shop for more pretty floral spring dresses below!
How many people have had trouble with finding dresses? I know, I have. Easter and spring seems to be the perfect time to start wearing dresses but it's not always that easy. Especially if you are looking for classy but not too frumpy, girly but not over the top. Here is my selection of favorite dresses right now. Hope you find something pretty for yourself!
I'm just getting on the sneakers trend and liking how they are being styled all over the fashion blogs. I have been eyeing a few (one, two and three) but honestly can't decide which pair to get. Spring is coming and I know with the growing belly, and back aches I will need more comfortable shoes (although I will never get rid of my heels haha). Here are some of my top choices!
Do you like the sneaker trend? Have you styled them with dressy pants or just used them for walking? Do share and give me some ideas on how to style them.
If you seen Monster-In-Law movie, you know there a scene where the assistant gets totally fed up with the mother and she gives her a pieces of her mind. (watch trailer/movie here for clarification). Well, I feel exactly like that about the whole winter business. Notice mountains of snow around me? There is no where to escape as we are trapped in an ice age. Above 30F seems like a dream and hopefully we will be getting some sun this week. Although, I will believe it when I see it. In the mean time, I'm recovering from a nasty cold (which I successfully avoided all winter to catch in March. yeah.). If anyone is packaging sun and selling it online, I will take a whole bucket full please.
Thanksgiving is just around the corner and it's winter wonderland over here today. Yep, we are totally white out and thank God we have no where to go. Here's an idea for your thanksgiving dinner. I like to do laid back (jeans. duh.) but a little glam (gold pumps) and pretty (polka button up). Plus since we are spending it with family as usual, it's nice to just kick back and unwind.

If now isn't a time to shop for a new spring bag, I don't know when it is. I've been looking for a perfect winged tote that wouldn't break my bank. Every time I search for something specific, I head to Polyvore. It is such a great tool for shopping-crazy bloggers, who are looking for a great deal. I have yet to find a better search engine for shopaholics.
I love different kinds of bags and if I had the money, I would buy all of these. (I did get one of these bags in my recent online shopping adventure) Everything from totes to clutches is here and most of these are on sale too! So don't waste your time looking elsewhere - I got you the perfect selection of bags on a budget. And that's just the way we roll.
