Hello there! It seems like I have been away from blogging for a hundred year, while in reality I actually only took one week off. There is nothing like social pressure and Instagram pictures to whip you back into shape right away. ha! jk!
When I was thinking about my postpartum body and how I'm going to post outfits, I knew it wasn't going to be easy. The ideal is to show your bump entire pregnancy and then have flat stomach by the time you walk out of the hospital. Well, that's not reality. I have a few pound (and inches of flabby skin) to loose, but I'm OK with that. This time around, I'm kind to my body and much more understanding that it will take a little time. I did just give birth to an entire human being and it took nine months to grow that belly. In the mean time, shapewear to the rescue. So here is to the first postpartum outfit post.
Thank you for stopping by!

Guest Blogger {Clothed with Grace}

Hello! Last but not least, I have Ginny whose blog I've been following only short amount of time but loved it ever since I found it. She does book reviews and that's something I've been meaning to do more - read books. She's also expecting (yay!) and I'm looking forward to her maternity style posts. Check out her lovely blog and give her some love!

Hi Everyone, I'm Ginny and I blog at Clothed with Grace, a fashion and lifestyle blog. I'm excited to be posting over here today while Anna is enjoying her sweet new baby. I'm also expecting and almost 20 weeks along, although these pictures were taken a few weeks back.

One of the things I've realized with this pregnancy is how great it is to have pieces in your closet that work not only while you are pregnant, but afterwards as well. I got this top this spring at Target, although it's now sold out, although this option is also really cute and affordable. I'm a teacher, so during the summer I wear a lot of casual outfits, like this one, so fun prints and wedges help make and easy outfit seem more special.

Over on Clothed with Grace I like to show affordable fashion and make fun trends easy to duplicate. Fashion should be fun, and getting dressed should make you feel good and I work to help you do just that in each post.

Like I said above, I work to wear the clothes I buy multiple way, here are two other ways I've worn this shirt. Once with white jeans to work and once with dark denim for a night with the girls. It transitioned perfectly to summer with shorts here too.

I'd love to have you stop by and say hi and Clothed with Grace and check out my new post on there today too!

That's all lovelies! Have a great weekend and check back next week for sappy birth story novel and baby pictures (cuteness overload)!

Guest Blogger {Straight A Style)

Today I have another stylish and classy lady who's blog I love to check out on daily basis. Amy dares to wear newest trends (that I'm too much of chicken to try) and doesn't it perfectly. She's also fabulous at blogging and have done so well. I lover her revives and daily outfit posts. It's all yours girl!

Hello! I'm Amy Ann from Straight A Style, and I am thrilled to be guest posting while Anna takes a short break to welcome her sweet new baby. I don't know about you, but I loved following along in her maternity style journey. Thanks for having me today. I blog from Tulsa, Oklahoma where I live with my amazing husband and our two goofy dogs. Fashion is one of my many joys in life. I believe in the power of expression and the individuality it provides and the confidence boost a great dress can give you. I think all women deserve to feel good in their clothes and fashion doesn’t have to cost a fortune. I'd love to get to know you and hope you'll come visit. Connecting with other people is my favorite part about this whole thing. On to today's post. I thought I would talk about one of my favorite recent trends: culottes! I was totally skeptical about this at first, but now I am a full on convert. I love the fuller pant paired with a more fitted or crop top. I'm almost 30 (gasp), and it's been a fun way for me to incorporate a crop top in an age appropriate way without showing any skin. It makes me feel modern and sophisticated all at the same time. I think culottes are a trend that spans all ages. My mom is incredibly stylish and just bought the cutest jean pair. She looks amazing in them! So don't be afraid to try out this fun trend.
