If you think about how many changes a woman's body goes through while she's pregnant, it's simply amazing. From the expanding abdomen that's capable of accommodating a baby of any size (or a few) to how her bones shift to give way for the baby. The baby is getting everything he or she needs through mother without mother's knowledge or help. It's so fascinating! Every time I feel the baby move I'm simply amazed at the fact that I'm carrying a life inside of me. A brand new life that was created and given to me to bring into this world. How amazing is that? It is truly a miracle and I cannot wait to see our little baby girl!

Hi there. So I had a really good morning until Google decided to delete my post before I published it. So this is not how I wanted things to go. Do you think pregnancy is a good time to start wearing white skinny jeans? I think so, because before now I never even had a pair. Ha! Then I went to Target and saw these jeans which were much cheaper than this version, plus I had a coupon! A win win in my book.

I haven't been a Lilly Pulitzer fan for a long time but I have admired the bright prints and patterns whenever someone else worn them. In fact, I stopped by their boutique once and was smitten with a pretty pink dress, although would never pay $150+ for it. When Target announced their collaboration I was totally on board with getting designer apparel for Target prices.

The entire shopping experience was a bit hectic and overwhelming (read here). Considering I live in a small town with very few fashionistas I did not think I would have to fight for a dress. This top was one of my Lilly scores as well and I'm so happy about it. It has spring/summer season pattern and will match to almost anything. Hope your weekend was as nice as mine! I finally got to decorate my living room and dining room, arrange the gallery wall and do tons of spray painting. When in doubt, I spray paint stuff. It's the best thing in the world for those old things that need to be updated, like vases, lamps and frames. I can't wait to show you what our home looks like now. 

In other new, Lilly Pulitzer for Target was a fiasco fashionistas won't forget for a long time. I didn't think we would have that many shoppers in our small town store. Wrong! I got there @8:05 and everything was gone. I mean, everything! Many women stood outside of the dressing room waiting for the stuff others didn't want. In the end, my patience and stalking others with unwanted items paid off and I came home with a few things. There are a lot of angry Lilly fans out there because of the (super) limited availability of the collection and those trying to sell their hauls for three times the price on eBay. After checking Instagram and different hash tags I can see why people are upset about 'limited time' - which in this case means limited few hours. I can't wait to style my Lilly pieces on the blog soon!

I love spring time because I get a chance to renew my wardrobe and hopefully shop for some new accessories! Spring is the best time to update your bags and shoes because there are so many new styles and colors. I'm in love with neon and light colored pumps, but haven't tried espadrilles yet. Have you seen this clutch over all over the fashion blogs? Well, it's been around for a while and its popularity doesn't seem to be slowing down. Of course, pony hair and the brand name are tempting but the price tag is not easy to swallow. I've been dreaming about it for a while and decided to make my own. I've taken an old clutch and wrapped it in calf hair-like material in under $10. It was super easy and looks great, don't you think? A tutorial is coming soon but in the mean time here are some other options on a budget (or not).
