Hello and welcome to Monday! Fall layers are my absolutely favorite thing. It's getting cool enough to wear jackets but still warm enough to sport bare legs. The neutrals are taking the spotlight this fall and I'm loving it. A simple crochet white dress with khaki trench coat is exactly what this weather is calling for.I love how the addition of black accessories takes it from simple to sophisticated. What do you think about white after labor day? Personally, I'm all about braking all fashion rules!

Hello friends and I'm so happy it's Friday! It has been a loooooong week and I'm so happy it's over. Believe it or not, the cold hasn't completely left us and I'm still stuffed up. But the sun is shining, the temperatures are getting warmer and I'm feeling better. The florals are my absolute favorite (judging by the last few posts) and I'm not planning on stopping. The temperatures have dropped below reasonable for outfit pictures outside. So I had  to resort to inside photo shoot to make sure everyone's limbs stay in tact. The Christmas decor is put away and only the cold remains with not a ray of sunshine on most days. I want to take Jonathan out and let him experience the winter wonderland but when it's 3F outside, even the bravest mom gives up. It is supposed to 'warm up' (a.k.a. stay above 25 this week) which means opportunity for sledding and some fun. Most days we survive the cold with naps and hot tea. Stay warm my friends!

Winter is a perfect time to add some color to your wardrobe! It's dreary and cold outside so why not go with bright? Most of the time it snows or rains without a ray of sunshine for weeks at a time. On the other hand, it's perfect light for pictures at any time of day. Pop of hot pink and some heels is all need to have a little pick me up. Christmas is literally only 3 days away and I couldn't be more excited. I have to say that this holiday season has been the best yet. We baked, sent out cards and watched Christmas movies with family. The thing is that we aren't doing gift exchange this year and it took a load off! There is no last minute running to the store, no wrapping until midnight and certainly no breaking the bank. It's been a peaceful and relaxing Christmas season - which is what I've always wished for. The gift giving is a wonderful idea but should not be the main focus. It's not about the presents but the reason for the season - the birth of Jesus.

Hello ladies! This Christmas season I've been incredibly cheerful with my dress - reds and sparkles all the way.
